Frequently Asked Questions

Q:How do I book an appointment?

-You can book with me on my appointments section! You’ll be able to pick the days and times that work best for you, the length of appointment, and upload reference imagery and tattoo details.

-Larger pieces, detailed pieces, face/neck/hand/groin pieces, I require a consult set up beforehand so we can hash out some details!

Q:What do you prefer/prefer not to tattoo?

-My favorites are definitely traditional style designs, comics/cartoons/nerd media, and heavy black stark contrasted pieces. You can find a lot of examples of these on my portfolio and wanna do sections! Im super happy to do all sorts of styles, but I have figured out a short list of stuff that I’m not so down to do anymore;

-I won’t be taking any bookings for the following: Culturally specific/important designs (tribal, religious, etc), celtic/nordic (knots, runes, vikings), Watercolor/splashy/washed out color designs, and photo realistic tattoos. There are several folks in the shop that should be happy to help you with those styles though!

Q:Do you charge by the piece or by the hour?

- A bit of both! I use the hourly rate ($150hr) to determine a price estimate for the tattoo, but we may finish up before the predicted time. The cost will always stay within what was quoted. I tattoo pretty quickly nowadays, so I’ve had to lean a little more on ‘by the piece’ than ‘by the hour’.

Q:What if I need to reschedule?

- If you need to reschedule an appointment please contact me ASAP and we can find a new time slot for you. I require AT LEAST 24 HOURS before the appointment time to reschedule, repeated no shows or last second cancellations will lead to being blacklisted from getting booked with me again.

Q:How old do I have to be to get tattooed?

- Washington state law requires you to be 18 years old to be tattooed, no parental signature, no exceptions.

Q:How do I take care of my new tattoo?

- I will go over any aftercare questions at the time of the appointment, but to give a brief summary:

  • Keep the bandage on at least 3 hours, or as long as overnight.

  • When removing the bandage, wash with soap and warm water several times, until clean and no longer gooey

  • Pat dry with a towel, and let it breathe. Do NOT re-bandage.

  • Keep clean every day, making sure theres no build up on the tattoo.

  • Apply a thin layer of water based NON SCENTED lotion, after the tattoo becomes dry and itchy.

  • Most important is keeping it nice and clean, only moisturizing when it feels too itchy.
